This recipe takes 2 minutes, provided you've already made the white rice.
Sometimes called Spanish Rice or Mexican Rice – It's a great way to spice up white rice

Equipment

  • 1 small pot

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 tbsp broth (any kind) water if you don't have broth
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp salt & pepper you can add more later, to taste
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Instructions
 

  • Stir in broth, tomato paste, and the spices over low heat until it makes and paste (you don't want it to burn the bottom of the pan)
  • Add the 2 cups cooked white rice and stir until coated
  • Add more broth (slowly, as needed) to get the desired consistency
