
Red Rice
This recipe takes 2 minutes, provided you've already made the white rice.Sometimes called Spanish Rice or Mexican Rice – It's a great way to spice up white rice
Equipment
- 1 small pot
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 tbsp broth (any kind) water if you don't have broth
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp salt & pepper you can add more later, to taste
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Stir in broth, tomato paste, and the spices over low heat until it makes and paste (you don't want it to burn the bottom of the pan)
- Add the 2 cups cooked white rice and stir until coated
- Add more broth (slowly, as needed) to get the desired consistency
